Payout will be 50% of proceeds to a maximum of $10,000.

Entry is $100 per rod, all anglers on the boat must hold a ticket. Marine Areas 6-7 only. Each angler must have a ribbon displayed.

Tickets on sale now at Holiday Sports, John’s Sporting Goods, LFS Bellingham, and Dave’s Sporting Goods Lynden. No tickets sold after March 31st. No refunds.

Weigh-in starts at 4:00pm at Friday Harbor Marina (Seafood slip M1, MAP HERE), must be in line by 6:00pm both days. The biggest halibut wins. A tie will be decided by a coin toss.

100% of all funds raised go to Fish Northwest to help restore fishing opportunity in Puget Sound. All derby expenses are covered by our awesome sponsors.

New for 2022: Awards Ceremony with Food, Raffle prizes

Building on momentum from last year’s highly successful derby, we have added an awards ceremony to thank our participants and congratulate the winners. Please plan to join us at Brickworks Events Center (150 Nichols St, Friday Harbor · (360) 378-0095)

  • Doors open @ 5:30pm. We’ll BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs so come early!
  • Ceremony is 6:30, should end by 7:30.
  • Trophies and prize payouts for 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Chat with FNW about the current status of the lawsuits, BS with fellow FNW members
  • Awesome raffle prizes
