Today at 5 PM FNW asked the Federal Court, Western District of Washington, to combine the previously filed Motion to Intervene United States v. Washington, 384 F. Supp. 312, 419 (Aka. the Boldt Decision) with the second lawsuit filed just weeks ago. The second suit was filed claiming the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and other federal agencies are violating the Endangered Species Act (ESA) Section 7 process required for allowing fisheries. That abuse has led to overharvesting collectively by the co-managers.
