While progress has been made on many of the conservation
efforts underway throughout the state, the same cannot be said for the
public’s opportunity to fish for salmon in Puget Sound. Quite the contrary,
over the last decade, the public’s opportunity to fish has been severely
reduced and, in some areas, eliminated.
