Trust me, the Treaty Tribes are not shaking in their boots this morning.

Trust me, the Treaty Tribes are not shaking in their boots this morning. They are not intimidated by this. They will continue using their same old tried and true tactics in the coming weeks. In fact, they will double down. Don’t think for a second that publically pointing out the crap they are pulling is going to make them blink or think twice.

The Director of WDFW is not losing sleep over our 60-day notice of intent to sue. He will very likely choose to not even acknowledge what took place last Friday afternoon.

The staff at NFMS is not having emergency meetings this morning in order to strategize damage control. They honestly, and arrogantly, don’t believe they are doing anything wrong.

The Wa State AG Mike Grossman will either not acknowledge our intent to sue, or he will arrogantly brush this off like he did the suit we filed to intervene in the Boldt decision.

But rest assured, in the coming days and weeks, there will be those who attack, undermine, and attempt to redefine what FNW stands for and what our goals are. To be sure, this has already happened, and it came not from without, but from within the Puget Sound angling community.
