The first 2021 North of Falcon public meeting will be held on 26 Feb at 9 AM. We need all eyes and ears on these meetings this year. If things go the way we fear, recreational fishermen could be looking at even more drastic cuts to salmon seasons, including complete closures of some areas, and if you think you will see the easy restoration of blackmouth fishing, think again. This is not an exaggeration or a scare tactic. It’s real. To be sure, the Dept’s first obligation is to conservation, but their salaries are paid by your tax dollars and fishing license purchases.
